The Life in the Spirit Seminar is designed to help participants encounter God’s love in a personal way, grow in prayer, and become more open to the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit in everyday life. Whether you are feeling spiritually dry, seeking renewal, or simply longing for a deeper relationship with the Lord, this seminar is for you.

What Is the Life in the Spirit Seminar?

The Life in the Spirit Seminar is a time of renewal in which participants are invited to reflect on God’s love, the gift of salvation in Jesus Christ, and the transforming presence of the Holy Spirit. Through talks, prayer, and community, the seminar offers a meaningful opportunity to grow in faith and experience a deeper openness to God’s action in your life.

This is not only for those who feel strongly rooted in their faith. It is also for those who may be searching, longing, or asking God for something more.

Do you wish the Holy Mass had more meaning for you?
Do you wish to have more understanding and appreciation for the Sacred Scripture and the Eucharist?

There will be an informational meeting for more information in preparation for the seminar on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 7pm in Gallagher Hall.

7:00 PM – 8:30 PM	First Session – God’s Love	God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
8:30 PM – 9:00 PM	Fellowship

Friday

7:00 PM – 8:30 PM	Second Session – Salvation	He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved son. (Colossians 1:13)

Saturday

8:00 AM – 9:00 AM	Optional Continental Breakfast	We will have a light breakfast available for all those who wish to partake this morning beginning at 8am. First talk of the Day begins promptly at 9am.
9:00 AM – 9:45 AM	Third Session – The New Life	I came so that they may have life and have it in abundance. (John 10:10)

10:30 AM – 11:15 AM	Fourth Session – Recieving God’s Gift	If anyone thirst, let him come to me, and let him who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.’ (John 7:37-38)

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM	Fifth Session – Prayer for Baptism in the Holy Spirit	When Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. (Acts 19:7)

2:15 PM – 3:00 PM	Sixth Session – Growth & Transformation in Christ	“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
